Ollares da Ría looks over Pontevedra estuary from Sanxenxo, pairing Galician seafood and rice dishes with tapas that draw on a wider range of flavors.
About Ollares da Ría
Galician ingredients, a wider culinary range
Since opening in 2011, Ollares da Ría has built its dining room around views of the Ría de Pontevedra and a menu that updates traditional cooking with more contemporary combinations. Seafood rice dishes and grilled fish sit alongside beef and pork from the region, while starters range from grilled octopus and scallops to tuna tiradito, tempura nori rolls, and gyoza.
The menu's mix is part of the appeal: it can begin with a few tapas and move into a rice dish or a larger grilled plate. The restaurant's tomato with burrata, almonds, and basil received recognition at the 2025 Sanxenxo Degusta Tapas event, a local distinction that captures the kitchen's habit of giving familiar ingredients a more playful presentation.
