CARSA (Comercial Agrícola Riojana S.A.) began in the 1960s in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, La Rioja, as a family business selling fresh potatoes. Over the decades, it expanded into frozen foods and built a network of branches across the Iberian Peninsula. The third generation of the family now leads the company, retaining a close-knit approach while adapting to the market.

In frozen foods, it has worked for more than 30 years with manufacturers including Lutosa, Ultracongelados Virto, and Darta. For fresh produce, it works with selected growers and uses field inspections, variety tracking, and laboratory testing to meet its standards.
