About Pazo Cibrán

A restored Galician manor house near Santiago

Pazo Cibrán is a rural guesthouse in a restored Galician manor house, 10 km from Santiago de Compostela in the Ulla River Valley, in the parish of San Xulián de Sales, Vedra. The same family has owned the house since the 18th century. The current owner's mother restored it and turned it into a lodging business. Alicia and her partner Jacobo manage the property, with help from Maica.

Accommodations

The property offers two main types of accommodations:

  • Double rooms: spacious, bright rooms with garden views, private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs.
  • Separate garden studios: with direct outdoor access, private bathrooms (some with bathtubs), Wi-Fi, TVs, and a small, fully equipped kitchenette without a stove. Pets are allowed in the studios.

The three studios are:

  • O Quinteiro: a family studio for up to four people.
  • A Veiga: a studio for couples or couples with two young children, accommodating two or four people.
  • A Barrola: a studio for a couple or a couple with one young child, accommodating two or three people.

Meals for groups and pilgrims

Pazo Cibrán serves home-cooked dinners for groups of 10 to 20, with a half-board option, and presents itself as a place to stay for pilgrims on the Way of St. James. It is 3 km from the Vía da Prata route and near the French and Portuguese routes. The property has bicycle storage and a pasture area.

Events and gathering spaces

The manor house is available for workshops, team meetings, and cultural events, with arrangements tailored to clients' needs.

Gardens and surroundings

The property has 12,000 square meters of gardens with centuries-old trees and camellias. It is in the Ulla Valley, known for Albariño wines, furanchos (small seasonal wine taverns), salmon fishing areas, and manor-house gardens such as Pazo de Oca and Pazo de Santa Cruz de Ribadulla.
