Vikema is the independent workshop of jeweler and stone setter José Viqueira in Santiago de Compostela. With more than 30 years of experience, he works with jewelry brands, designers, workshops, and individual clients on pieces that call for careful setting and finish. The workshop's work ranges from stone setting and casting to modeling, design, repair, and final polishing.

Training and a Career in Jewelry

Viqueira began studying jewelry at Santiago's Mestre Mateo School of Arts and Crafts in 1994, then continued his training in stone setting at Barcelona's Escola Massana. He spent 20 years working with jewelry workshops and brands in Barcelona before returning to Galicia. The portfolio shows finished pieces in gold and platinum set with diamonds and colored stones, offering a direct look at the precision work behind the craft. Vikema serves both trade clients and private projects that require detailed, custom jewelry work.
