History and Capabilities

Sorsa began manufacturing polyester strapping in 1990, becoming one of the first European companies to use the technology. It now operates a continuous 24/7 polyester and polypropylene strapping plant in El Guixaró, Barcelona; a technical and sales office in Alhama de Murcia; and its headquarters in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Barcelona. The company says it is the only one in its country to offer both strapping consumables and its own automatic machinery, along with after-sales technical service. It reports more than 5,000 customers worldwide and a presence in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, North Africa, and China.
