Burger Mel has been part of Santa Cruz de Tenerife’s food scene for more than 25 years, according to the company’s account of its original La Marina location. Its fast-good approach centers on house-made vegetarian food, led by a vegetable burger, with prepared dishes available to take home as well as meals served at its restaurants.

Two locations, two menu approaches

The company currently lists two city locations. The La Marina restaurant is described as the original Burger Mel, while the Calle del Castillo outlet operates as Mel Vegan Fast Food and focuses on a vegan menu. That distinction helps diners choose the right stop: both are built around plant-based fast food, but the second location is explicitly presented as vegan. The brand’s reach also extends beyond its dining rooms through its own prepared and packaged foods.
