About the foundation

Fundación Fyde CajaCanarias is a private nonprofit established in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on March 1, 1995. Its founding trustee is Fundación CajaCanarias. The foundation supports the Canary Islands business community and employment by encouraging entrepreneurship and improving business management and knowledge.

Areas of work

• Training: In-person, hybrid, and online courses in business management, leadership, office software such as basic and advanced Excel, data protection, neuromarketing, and neuroscience applied to leadership, among other topics.
• Programs: Initiatives include Campus Internacional Ciudad de La Laguna, Foro Nueva Economía Nueva Empresa, the Entrepreneurship Awards, Dinamiza, the Talent & Job Virtual Career Fair, Especialízate, and the Sustainable Tourism Transformation Agenda.
• Economic and Social Studies Service: Reports and analysis on economic and social conditions in the Canary Islands.
• Online Business School: A distance-learning platform for students.

Featured programs

The foundation's Entrepreneurship Awards held their 29th edition in 2025, recognizing Effiwaste and Signalanz. The Talent & Job Virtual Career Fair, organized with the University of La Laguna, brought together 60 businesses and more than 230 job opportunities for university students. The Campus Internacional Ciudad de La Laguna addresses topics including cultural heritage, neuroscience, and the consequences of war.

Locations and activities

The foundation operates across the Canary Islands. Its educational and cultural events take place at venues including Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias in La Laguna and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The foundation's headquarters are in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
