Chemical Specialties for Industry

Synthesar, S.A. is a chemical company founded in Barcelona in 1983. Since 1989, it has marketed and distributed chemical products in Spain, Portugal, and other countries. The company combines its own manufacturing with the distribution of specialty products from European businesses, serving polyurethane and rubber manufacturers as well as automotive, construction, furniture, and footwear industries.

• Manufacturing: Mold-release agents, pigment concentrates, inks and colorants, lacquers, primers, and varnishes.

Company Development

In 2003, Synthesar moved to new facilities in Barcelona province and began manufacturing color pastes and mold-release agents for the polyurethane industry. In 2012, it launched pigment concentrates for paints, varnishes, enamels, and coatings. In 2014, it moved again within the Barcelona metropolitan area to expand production and storage capacity.
