Fundació Inform
A Catalan foundation that teaches business administration through its SEFED business-simulation program, serving job seekers, schools, and international projects.
About Fundació Inform
Learning business by running a simulated company
Fundació Inform is based in Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona, and has trained people in business management and administration since 1987 using a business-simulation method. Its main program, SEFED, creates a simulated company in a classroom. Students buy and sell products with simulated companies around the world, record transactions, and organize marketing campaigns to mirror the operations of a real business.
Programs and services
- SEFED business simulation: Bringing the method to schools in Spain and abroad.
- Training for job seekers: Administrative courses connected with the Catalan Public Employment Service (SOC), intended to support entry or reentry into the workforce.
- Erasmus+ projects: International exchanges for SEFED students and teachers, use of the method in secondary education to help reduce school dropout, and projects for young people receiving employment guarantees, among other initiatives.
- Special projects: IN HER SHOES on gender equality; a virtual-reality seminar; DIGIPRAC on digital skills; LOGIPRO on logistics training; FEMPOWER on women's empowerment; JOINUS on digital activities for simulated companies; and SEFED ENGAGE on internships at simulated companies.
