About Col·legi El Roser

A historic school in Osona

Col·legi El Roser is a privately run, publicly subsidized Catalan school on the outskirts of Sant Julià de Vilatorta in the Osona region. Founded in 1897, it has more than 125 years of educational history. Its original Catalan Modernista building was made possible by a bequest from textile industrialist Josep Puig i Cunyer and is now managed by Fundació Privada Puig i Cunyer.

School programs

The school serves students at several stages:

  • Nursery and early childhood education (ages 0–6): Learning in a natural setting with woods and landscaped areas.
  • Elementary school: An educational model built around close collaboration between families and the school.
  • Secondary school: Academic and educational-psychology support focused on students' emotional development.

Campus

The grounds include more than 15,000 square meters of green space, basketball courts, and a soccer field, creating an outdoor setting for learning.
