Chromatography and purification equipment

Cromlab S.L. is a Spanish company based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, supplying instrumentation, consumables, and standards for chromatography and purification. It has operated since 1985. Its Cromlab-Instruments division, created in 2020 by chromatography and mass-spectrometry specialists, supports purification of synthetic or natural compounds at scales ranging from milligrams to grams and from grams to kilograms.

Consumables and standards

The company sells a wide range of consumables for gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, and centrifugal partition chromatography: HRGC, UHPLC, HPLC, LC-Prep, and flash columns, including chiral, biochromatography, ion-exchange, and gel-filtration columns; vials; microsyringes; liners; injector septa; and valves. Its standards include certified standards, certified mixtures, and reference materials under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17034, with inorganic and organic products; EPA and pharmacopeia methods; labeled, natural, rare, custom mixtures, Karl Fischer, and petrochemical standards. It also produces custom reference materials to customer specifications.

Refurbished equipment

Cromlab S.L. offers used and refurbished laboratory instruments from leading brands. Before delivery, equipment is cleaned, decontaminated, and function-tested under certified procedures, and includes a warranty. The company also buys equipment from customers. Examples include refurbished Thermo TSQ Quantum, Agilent 1200, and Waters Xevo TQMS systems.

Services and technical support

In addition to supplying equipment, the company offers turnkey purification solutions; advice on selecting techniques, methods, equipment, columns, and standards; and sales, service, and technical-support departments. Its specialists answer questions about alternatives to discontinued USP-method columns, microsyringes, vials, injector inserts, seals, and connectors without a reference number.
