Social and Educational Services Cooperative

Doble Via Cooperativa, legally Doble Via Cooperativa (Serveis Socioeducatius), SCCL, is based in La Floresta, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Catalonia. For more than 25 years, it has provided consulting and management in social and cultural work, education, community programming, and community development. It works with town councils, schools, cooperatives, associations, public agencies, private businesses, foundations, and other organizations.

Core Services

• Town councils: Consulting, design, and direct management of social services and programs tailored to each municipality.
• Schools: Full management of school cafeterias with healthy and organic options, with educational guidance integrated into each school's educational plan. The cooperative also serves family associations, schools, and preschools.
• Organizations: Services for cooperatives, associations, public agencies, communities, private businesses, foundations, and other organizations.
• Areas of work: Adolescents and young people, culture and community, social services, older adults, school services, gender and feminism, and cross-disciplinary services.
• Consulting: Support with designing and planning initiatives across these areas and throughout the life span, from childhood through older adulthood.

Additional Information

The cooperative holds ISO 9001 certification and has an equality plan. It publishes its social report, social balance sheet, contracts, and bids on its website. It also organizes the Raimon Badia Award, with a scientific committee and annual editions. Its L'ESSpurna program expanded across Catalonia during the 2025–26 school year, reaching 119 student cooperatives and nearly 3,000 participants.
