Broquetas, S.L. is a family-owned company founded in 1930 that manufactures nonferrous alloys and related products. It has more than 90 years of foundry experience, operates under ISO 9001:2015, and describes itself as a leading producer in Spain, exporting to more than 40 countries.

Products and applications

The catalog serves five main areas:

• Electronics: hand soldering, wave soldering, selective soldering, repair and rework, reflow, and jet dispensing.
• Plumbing and HVAC/R: soft soldering and brazing.
• Industrial: pickling agents and auxiliary products.
• Anti-friction applications.
• Crafts and jewelry.

Brazing-alloy products include BRO AlSi12, with and without internal flux, and the BRO Cu silver series: Cu 20 Ag, Cu 25 Ag, Cu 30 Ag, Cu 34 Ag, and Cu 40 Ag. Several are also available in coated versions.

Research and environmental work

Broquetas has its own laboratory for R&D&I projects and quality assurance for solders, chemicals, and fluxes. Its environmental work focuses on eliminating or reducing hazardous substances in its products and CO₂ emissions from production. The company uses particle-filtration technology.

Broquetas, S.L. is part of Grupo Broquetas, alongside Az-Broquetas, Soldaduras, and Ferdex. It receives support from ACCIÓ, the Catalan government’s business competitiveness agency.
