Company History

Zerep Carbónicas y Aguas S.A. is a family-owned Spanish company that bottles natural mineral water, soft drinks, grape juice, and beer. Its history dates to 1951, when Manuel Pérez García opened a small soda factory. In 1992, the company began bottling natural mineral water at its facilities in San Andrés del Rabanedo, León. In 2005, it expanded production with two new bottling plants in Cuadros, León, and Albuñán, Granada. It began making and bottling beer in 2013. Today, 15 automated bottling lines produce its full range.

The company describes its mineral water as low in minerals, with just 1 milligram of sodium per liter, and suitable for low-sodium diets. Its composition includes calcium (38 mg/L), magnesium (2 mg/L), potassium (1 mg/L), and silicon (11 mg/L).
