Composite Materials and Manufacturing

INPRE, S.L. is an industrial company based in San Adrián, Navarra, specializing in the design and processing of composite materials, particularly glass-fiber-reinforced polyester (GRP). Founded in 1988, the company describes itself as the first Spanish composites manufacturer to produce rolls of GRP sheet. It has a workforce of 140 and serves customers in Spain and internationally.

Products and Capabilities

• GRP sheets for industrial vehicle bodies.
• Wind-turbine components, including GRP nacelle covers and hub covers, backed by more than 30 years of collaboration with original equipment manufacturers in the wind-energy sector.
• Tidal-energy blades, manufactured since 2016.

• Development of new composite-material applications, with support from design through industrialization, prototyping, and series production.

The company owns the MODULCAR™ brand and has added processes including resin infusion (2005), automated GRP-sheet production (2013), and CNC fabric-cutting machines (2018).

Certifications and Quality

INPRE holds ISO 9001 certification (since 2012), ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, which replaced OHSAS 18000 in 2019. It has used the APQP4WIND methodology since 2021 and has been approved by Lloyd’s Register. In 2022, it received an EcoVadis Silver Medal; in its most recent EcoVadis assessment, its rating improved to the 88th percentile. The company has also received grants from the Government of Navarra in 2023 and 2024 to improve competitiveness and upgrade equipment.

INPRE serves customers in Spain and abroad. In 2026, it appointed Karlos Hebrard-Epalza as business developer to support growth in the French market and strengthened its position in the marine sector as an industrial partner.
