Residential, daytime, and employment services

Fundació Privada Atendis is a Sabadell nonprofit supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families. It has operated since 1963 and marked its 60th anniversary in 2023. Its services focus on Sabadell and nearby communities.

Services

• Residential care: places at several centers in Sabadell.
• Specialized day services.
• Group-home services.
• Employment integration: for adults with moderate intellectual disabilities who need limited or intermittent support and take part in daytime occupational services or an employment program.

• La Carena, main office: 1E Avinguda de Can Roqueta, 08202 Sabadell. Phone: +34 93 717 10 02. Its Aral, Bauma, and l'Aplec centers have operated since 2011: Aral has 30 residential places, Bauma has 60 residential places, and l'Aplec has 36 specialized day-service places.
• Centre Casal Can Rull: 30 Carrer de Zorrilla, 08206 Sabadell. Phone: +34 93 745 15 04. Operating since 1987, it has 41 residential places.
• Centre Jacquard: 55 Carrer de Jacquard, 08205 Sabadell. Phone: +34 93 726 66 12. Operating since 1984, it has 14 group-home places.
• SIL Taina: 63–65 Carrer del Puig Major, 08207 Sabadell. Phone: +34 93 717 17 18. Operating since 1991, it provides employment-integration services and reports 250 job placements.

The foundation reports serving 304 people and having 554 supporting members and collaborators, 210 professionals, and 150 business partners, as well as 6,425 social-media followers.

Office hours: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m., and Monday–Thursday, 3–5 p.m. Reception: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Family and guardian visits at Centre Casal Can Rull: 10 a.m.–7 p.m. SIL Taina: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

The foundation publishes institutional, organizational, financial, budget, and asset information, as well as its equality plan. Ways to participate include membership, donations, volunteering, and business partnerships. It also maintains a reporting channel.
