Recreation and learning in sa Pobla

Es Jardí Màgic is a youth recreation group (esplai) based in sa Pobla, Mallorca. This nonprofit focuses on learning through recreational activities for children and young people, with programs on Saturdays and during school breaks.

Activities and age groups

The group serves children and teens ages 6 to 17. Regular activities include workshops, arts and crafts, outings, camping trips, scavenger hunts, and cultural visits. Some activities have a charitable focus, such as a Christmas visit to the town's senior residence.

Registration and fees

Registration takes place in person at the Congregació de sa Pobla on dates announced on the group's blog. Required documents include a passport-style photo of the child, copies of the child's health card and identification, a copy of a parent's or guardian's ID, and a completed and signed registration form.

The annual fee is €40 for one child, €70 for two siblings, and €90 for three siblings. In previous years, registration cost €35.

History

A 2022 post marking “40 years of excitement” indicates that the group celebrated its 40th anniversary that year. Its blog documents activities dating back to 2008.
