A meeting place for Rubí

Centre Rubinenc d’Alternatives Culturals (CRAC) is a cultural and social center in Rubí, near Barcelona. It gives local associations a place to meet and offers educational and cultural activities to the wider public.

Courses and workshops

Quarterly programs cover music, health and wellness, languages, and activities for children and teens. Offerings change each term. Registration is available by email or in person during public desk hours on weekdays, 7–10 p.m.

Spaces and services

• Kafeta: A bar and café run by a community cultural coordinator who also helps develop social and cultural activities.
• Rooms available to associations and other organizations.
• Exhibition space.
• A reading group organized by La Ràbia and CRAC members to discuss current affairs through books and other texts.

A decade of activity

CRAC celebrated its tenth anniversary in November 2022. In January 2023, an extraordinary meeting of members and workshop participants discussed the space’s viability in light of technical requirements from the city government.
