Cintubex is a Spanish distributor and seller of electrical and electronic products. Founded on April 24, 1989, by Xavier Escoda Sarobe, the company began in the bearings market and later specialized in cable coating, protection, and fastening. Its business model is based on exclusive agreements with European and Asian manufacturers in the sector.

Products and specialties

Cintubex organizes its catalog into several technical product families:

• Adhesive tapes: PVC electrical tape, duct tape, cloth tape, gaffer tape, anti-slip tape, double-sided tape, aluminum tape, foam sealing tape, fiberglass tape, packaging tape, specialty tape, and crepe paper tape.
• Heat-shrink tubing: polyolefin, Teflon, PVC, and specialty tubing.
• Fiberglass insulating tubing: with silicone, polyurethane, acrylic-resin, or silicone-resin coatings; acrylic varnish; high-temperature treatment; and uncoated fiberglass, as well as fiberglass and silica fabrics and braids.
• SES Sterling products: cable protection, identification and marking, fastening and routing, and tools.
• Cable ties and fastening components: nylon 6.6 and specialty cable ties, anchors, bases, tools, and assorted components.
• Terminal strips: polyamide, polyethylene, porcelain, and pluggable versions.
• Other insulating tubing: polyester, expandable braid, polyester monofilament and multifilament, non-heat-shrink PVC, and silicone.
• Single-conductor wire: silicone and fiberglass.

The company also sells a fire-resistant sleeve and offers a general product catalog for 2024.

Markets and customers

Cintubex has direct customers in 13 countries and maintains an established market with international partners in countries including Angola, Mozambique, and Chile.
