Moehs Group brings together several manufacturing sites that develop and produce active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for the global pharmaceutical industry. Its core business is generic API manufacturing and contract development and manufacturing (CDMO), supporting partners from development through commercial production.

Experience and Global Reach

The company reports more than 60 years of industry experience and operations in more than 90 countries, supported by an international network of sales agents and commercial partners. It says all activities follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements throughout the product life cycle.

Research and Development Projects

Moehs has participated in research and development projects partially funded by CDTI and the European Union. Two projects at its Rubí facilities involved synthesis of an active ingredient that stimulates soluble guanylate cyclase, with an eligible budget of €1,862,213 and a 2022–2024 schedule, and synthesis of a Janus kinase inhibitor for atopic dermatitis, with an eligible budget of €1,940,409 and a 2022–2025 schedule. Moehs Cantabra also installed 531.85 kWp of photovoltaic panels with €58,666.92 in support from the European Union through Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
