About LittleJohn Burgers & Things
LittleJohn Burgers & Things is a burger restaurant at Plaza de la Cantera 13 in Rota, Cádiz. It is the personal project of Juan Ruiz, named Europe’s Best Sommelier by the International Academy of Gastronomy in 2015 and Spain’s Best Sommelier by the Royal Academy of Gastronomy in 2016. The restaurant brings that wine and food background to a casual setting built around burgers and pairings.

- Gurmé Cádiz Awards: Best New Opening in 2020 and Best Casual Restaurant in 2021.
- Recognized with a Repsol Soletes distinction in the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 editions.
- La Emilita: second place in the national Burger Combat in 2022.
- La Fuahhh!!!: second place for Best Burger in Andalusia at Best Burger Spain in 2022.
Collaborations
The restaurant has served as an ambassador for ADI-OhGar since 2019, José Rosa “Carne Auténtica” since 2024, and Champagne Gosset since 2025.
