Cancer support in Roses

Fundació Roses Contra el Càncer is a private nonprofit based in Roses, Girona. It is registered as No. 1267 with the Government of Catalonia’s Foundation Registry and belongs to the Catalan Federation of Cancer Organizations (FECEC) and the Alt Empordà Social Inclusion Organizations Roundtable.

The foundation supports people affected by cancer and those around them through psychosocial and wellness services, including:

Awareness and prevention

The organization runs prevention and awareness programs, including “Amb el Sol Solet ho fem bé,” colorectal cancer screening, “L'Hort d'en Marçal,” and “Setmana sense fum.” It also organizes the Cursa de la Dona; the 19th race was scheduled for Sunday, September 20, with registration open. The event is supported by the Girona Provincial Council.
