Company Background

Riversa is a family-owned company founded in 1993 in Rincón de Soto, La Rioja, Spain. It manufactures components for the furniture industry, with a particular focus on kitchen furniture, as well as products for decor, interior design, and contract projects in settings such as hotels, hospitals, offices, and retail spaces. The company was established to meet demand for flexible sizes, designs, and finishes, backed by responsive service.

Products and Capabilities

Its catalog includes panels, countertops, postformed surfaces, and J-profiles sold under the RiverPANEL® (HPL and PET), RiverPULL® (panels and edge bands with integrated pulls), RiverTOP®, and RiverFORMING® lines. Available panel materials and thicknesses include standard particleboard in 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 30, and 38 mm; moisture-resistant particleboard in 18, 19, 30, and 38 mm; low-formaldehyde CARB 2 particleboard in 18 and 19 mm; FSC-certified MDF in 18 mm; FSC-certified fire-retardant MDF in 15 and 19 mm; poplar plywood in 10, 13, 14, 15, and 18 mm; birch plywood in 18 mm; and 14 mm paulownia finger-jointed panel.

Riversa also stocks more than 350 designs, from woodgrains and solid colors to technical cement, metal, and textile textures. Finishes include synchronized textures, fingerprint-resistant surfaces, high gloss, and deep matte. Products can be made to order, and available sizes range from 2,150 × 950 mm to 4,200 × 1,600 mm, among others.

Facilities and Company History

Riversa has 15,000 square meters of facilities. It began in a 2,500-square-meter workshop and expanded to 13,000 square meters in 1997. The company is now led by the second generation of the founding family. In 2019, it earned FSC® Chain of Custody certification (license code FSC-C-149685) and PEFC™ certification. In 2022, it implemented a quality management system based on ISO 9001. CARB Phase 2 (EPA TSCA Title VI)-certified panels can also be supplied by request, subject to availability.

Customers and Distribution

Riversa works directly with furniture and door manufacturers and has an established distribution network in Spain and Portugal. Its customers include manufacturers of kitchen and bathroom furniture, kitchen-furniture doors, office, home, youth, specialty, and occasional furniture, as well as interior doors; professional retail distributors; and contract-project clients. Its logistics capacity supports exports and projects in international markets.
