Angelats Hotel occupies a Victorian-style historic country house in Campelles, within the municipality of Ribes de Freser, Girona, in the Catalan Pyrenees. The building is connected with the Batlló family's legacy and is surrounded by 70 hectares of private woodland and mountain landscape, a little over an hour from Barcelona.

The hotel presents itself as a place to disconnect. It says guestrooms have no Wi-Fi, repeaters or antennas and that most rooms avoid sharp corners to encourage the free movement of energy. The house retains stone walls, arches and natural materials, with steam heating and wooden floors.
