Company Background

Euromegatrans is the trade name of Mediterránea Garrido de Transportes Megatrans S.L., a road-freight company based in the El Oliveral industrial park in Riba-Roja del Túria, Valencia. Its history dates to 1945, when Enrique Garrido Carrión established a domestic transport business begun before the Spanish Civil War. In 1957, the company was among the early operators to ship fruit and vegetables internationally. The current company, Mediterránea Garrido de Transportes Megatrans S.L., was formed in 1996 after separating from Transportes Internacionales Levantinos S.A. (TILSA). Euromegatrans S.L. was created in 2000 as a transport agency to meet logistics and warehousing needs.

Transportation and Logistics Services

• International freight: routes throughout the European Union, with key destinations in France, Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
• Domestic freight: service to major locations including Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza, Castellón, and Alicante.
• Temperature-controlled transport: delivery of perishable goods to major markets in the European Community.
• Warehousing: company-owned facilities monitored 24 hours a day, with safety-stock management. One customer is Ford Spain, for which the company manages Goodyear tires.

Fleet and Capacity

The fleet includes standard and mega trailers with a capacity of 100 cubic meters, as well as refrigerated trucks and curtain-sided refrigerated trailers. It combines company-owned trucks with contracted fleets working full time.
