Vatiómetro

Compare renewable-energy installers

Vatiómetro connects homeowners and businesses interested in self-consumption with installers in their area and lets them compare quotes before choosing. The quote-comparison service is free to users.

Systems and equipment

• Solar panels: self-consumption photovoltaic systems, with site-listed prices starting at €3,500.
• Battery storage: systems that store excess power for use at night, starting at €6,900.
• Electric-vehicle chargers: home charging equipment, starting at €599.
• Heat pumps: heating, cooling, and hot water systems, starting at €4,200.

The platform also accounts for the option of selling surplus electricity to an energy supplier.

How it works

Users provide their energy use, monthly bill, and postal code. Vatiómetro estimates potential savings and identifies certified installers nearby. Users then receive detailed quotes from multiple installers and choose the offer they prefer. The company says responses arrive within 24 hours.

Tools for installers

Renewable-energy installers can list their businesses on the platform, receive inquiries from interested customers, and advertise. Professional registration requests a name, email, business or trade name, and password.

Platform figures

Vatiómetro reports more than 500 vetted installers, over 10,000 comparisons, and average annual user savings of €2,400. It says it checks installers' licenses, insurance, and customer reviews. The site is available in Spanish, Catalan, and English, with versions for Spain and the United Kingdom.
