Pasek España, S.A. is an industrial company founded in 1971. Its two areas of specialization are the production and supply of dunite and other industrial minerals, and the manufacture of refractory products and related technical services. Its main customers operate in steelmaking, materials and construction, energy, and environmental services, as well as fields such as fire protection and agriculture.

History and Capabilities

The company was established in Spain in 1971 as part of a Belgian international group. Its ownership changed in 2007, when it became 100% Spanish-owned. In 2009, its mining business became an independent company within the group, and in 2014 it began developing dunite processing operations. Since 2016, Pasek has expanded internationally, with a presence in the United States, Poland, Belgium, and Portugal. The company continued that expansion in 2025 alongside its research, development, and innovation strategy.

Pasek has more than 450 employees and developed PasekSMART, a digital tool for tracking and managing refractory maintenance operations. It also received European Union funding through NextGenerationEU for a 99.36-kW photovoltaic self-consumption installation, with an investment of €87,890 and a grant of €13,060, administered by IDAE.
