The Sardinero family restored its Maragato house, which is more than 400 years old and, according to the family, among the town’s oldest country homes. It faces the village square near the Pilar and municipal pilgrim hostels, a convenient position for people walking the Camino de Santiago.

Guests can also use the bar and restaurant at Posada El Tesín, a two-minute walk away; its kitchen is listed as open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and also offers vegetarian food.

Availability and group stays

The business says it may still have rooms when booking portals show no availability and offers direct inquiries. On certain dates, it also advertises a separate house for groups of up to 14 people.
