Employment and social inclusion

Laborsord is a social employment center supported by the Canary Foundation for People with Hearing Loss and Their Families (Funcasor). It focuses on social and workplace inclusion for people with disabilities, especially people who are deaf or hard of hearing, through stable, skills-building jobs adapted to their abilities.

Services for businesses and public agencies

Laborsord provides professional services to companies and public agencies and helps businesses meet current employment requirements for people with disabilities. Its services include:

• Professional services delivered by employees with disabilities, primarily hearing disabilities.
• Guidance for businesses on disability-employment requirements.
• Reserved contracts with public agencies.
• Alternative compliance measures for businesses unable to hire workers with disabilities directly.
• Hearing-accessibility solutions, including hearing loops that send amplified sound directly to hearing aids or cochlear implants.

Laborsord is based in Punta del Hidalgo, Tenerife.
