Primaflor is a family-owned company based in Pulpí, Almería, Spain, that grows and markets fresh vegetables. It began in the 1970s with Cecilio and Antonio Peregrín and Lorenzo Belmonte as a flower grower, which inspired the company’s name. It later shifted its focus to vegetables, beginning with iceberg lettuce and Little Gem lettuce.

The company grows produce along the Mediterranean coast and distributes it in sustainable packaging. According to information on its website, it employs more than 2,500 people and operates in more than 25 countries.
