Membrillo El Quijote S.A. traces its beginnings to 1840, when Rafael Rivas Pérez opened a confectionery shop in Puente Genil, Córdoba, specializing in quince paste. Today, the company says its facilities cover more than 26,000 square meters and its staff numbers about 60. It produces more than 10,000 tons a year.
