About BPSO Spain – Best Practice Spotlight Organizations

What BPSO Spain is

BPSO Spain is the national coordinating center for the international Best Practice Spotlight Organization program, known in Spanish as Centros Comprometidos con la Excelencia en Cuidados. It supports healthcare institutions implementing evidence-based nursing guidelines.

The Spanish program arose from an agreement involving Investén-isciii, the Spanish Center for Evidence-Based Health Care, CECBE, and the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario, RNAO. Investén-isciii and CECBE act as the national host.

Network

The program connects healthcare organizations committed to guideline implementation through the BPSO network. The site says it has grown since 2012, although achievement counters in the reviewed material were empty and did not substantiate totals.
