How the company started

CarbonTek traces its origins to the late 20th and early 21st centuries, when a father and his two sons—spearfishing and freediving enthusiasts—began making carbon-fiber fins. They saw few options on the market, and the available fins were expensive, fragile, and short-lived. Interest from spearfishers across Spain led them to create CarbonTek.
