About Biblox

Thermoformed packaging solutions

Biblox manufactures thermoformed plastic trays and packaging, producing both standard products and custom solutions. The company has operated since 2008 and specializes in packaging made with recycled and recyclable materials. Its offerings cover four main areas: food, component transport, cosmetics and perfumery, and custom packaging.

Products and applications

  • Food: trays and tubs for prepared foods, nuts, snacks, perishables, meat, fish, seafood, salted products, and baked goods.
  • Component transport: thermoformed trays that protect industrial parts during storage, handling, and shipping, including automotive applications.
  • Cosmetics and perfumery: packaging for moving products to retail outlets, as well as blister packs, self-closing Biblool packaging, and vial packs.
  • Custom packaging: tailored solutions designed around each product’s needs and brand identity.

Standard food packaging products include the 1212 and 1510 tubs; the 1523, 1825, and 2631 trays; and skin-pack versions of the 1523, 1530, and 1825 trays.

Production and facilities

The company reports more than 5,500 square meters of capacity and storage space, allowing it to provide service guarantees to customers. Its engineering team analyzes customers’ products to recommend optimized packaging solutions.

Sustainability and certifications

Biblox develops recycled and recyclable products and participates in ENVALORA’s Extended Producer Responsibility collective system (SCRAP). The company takes part in research and development projects focused on single-material PET trays that reduce plastic use and improve recyclability, as well as initiatives for traceability and food safety across the protein-product supply chain. These projects receive funding from Spain’s Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (PERTE Agro).
