SPG is a family-owned manufacturer with more than 40 years of experience producing materials for flexible packaging. Founded in 1985, the company has become a major European producer of flexible and rigid films and laminates for packaged food. It operates five factories across Europe and has a new project in Córdoba that is expected to expand its industrial and logistics capacity.

Products and Capabilities

The company makes a broad range of packaging solutions, including:

• Flow-pack rolls
• Lidding films for rigid containers, mainly APET or APET/PE
• Preformed bags, including stand-up pouches, side-gusset bags, and zipper bags
• Rigid and semi-rigid films for thermoformed packaging, used for trays and vacuum packaging

SPG also extrudes rigid and semi-rigid films and offers three printing processes—digital, flexographic, and rotogravure printing—so packaging can be tailored to each customer’s needs.

SPG specializes in food packaging, with solutions for meat, fish and seafood, cheese, liquids and sauces, sweets and confectionery, dry foods, dietary supplements, cured meats, fruits and vegetables, prepared meals, coffee and tea, nuts and snacks, and pet food. It also serves non-food markets, including personal hygiene and care, fragrances, cleaning and household products, chemicals, medical products, and plastic components for automotive applications.
