Industrial Plastics for Fluid Systems

Grupo PPA (Productos Plásticos Anticorrosivos, S.A.) is an industrial group specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of engineered-plastic solutions for transporting and storing corrosive and non-corrosive fluids. With more than 40 years in business, it operates through PPA, PPA&KRAH, and PPA PERU. Its product brands include PPA KPS, PPA OUTFALL, PPA TANK, PPA VENT, PPA PEQ, PPA TUBE, PPA DESAL, and PPA BOLTS.

Products and Capabilities

• Large-diameter HDPE pipes: HDPE and PP systems for land-based applications (PPA KPS) and marine applications (PPA OUTFALL), with internal diameters up to 4,000 mm. Uses include sewer systems, submarine outfalls, irrigation, stormwater, and seawater intakes.
• HDPE and PP tanks: storage tanks up to 225 m³, designed and manufactured using helical extrusion without welding, in accordance with Spanish technical instruction ITC MIE APQ-06 for chemical products.
• Air treatment and deodorization: chemical gas scrubbing and biofiltration systems, with flow rates reaching 161,000 m³/h in cited projects.
• Desalination plants: participation in projects of up to 600,000 m³ per day, including an industrial method for designing, prefabricating, and supplying modular plants for pumping, filtration, reverse osmosis, and remineralization.
• Process equipment: pickling and electroplating tanks, reactors, and custom components made from high-performance engineered plastics.
• Industrial prefabrication: thermoplastic and thermoset piping systems for facilities that carry corrosive fluids.
• FVRV 60413 fasteners: corrosion- and chemical-resistant fiberglass-reinforced plastic bolts for flanged connections and anchoring in harsh environments.

International Projects

Grupo PPA has completed projects in Spain, Peru, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Turkey, and Brazil, among other countries. Examples cited by the company include a stormwater overflow system in Rota, Cádiz; odor control at the Las Dehesas municipal solid-waste plant in Madrid; the seawater intake and submarine outfall for the Jazan Economic City desalination plant in Saudi Arabia; submarine outfalls for the La Chira and La Taboada treatment plants in Lima, Peru; and pickling lines for steel mills in Belgium, Turkey, and Brazil.
