About Fuvane

Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana para la Neurorrehabilitación (Fuvane) is a nonprofit based in the Technology Park in Paterna, Valencia. For 22 years, it has provided neurological rehabilitation for children and teenagers with brain injuries, cerebral palsy, and related conditions.

Services and therapies

The foundation's work is built around a neurological rehabilitation method that begins with an individualized assessment. Its team evaluates each person's skills and abilities in depth to develop a customized treatment plan aimed at maximizing results and promoting independence. Services include:

• Early intervention for children ages 0–6 to support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Petö therapy, an intensive approach for children with cerebral palsy that focuses on neuroplasticity and active participation.
• Physical therapy to improve mobility, muscle strength, and coordination.
• Speech-language therapy for speech, language, voice, and communication disorders.
• Occupational therapy to build skills for everyday activities.
• Virtual-reality rehabilitation with physical, cognitive, and emotional exercises.
• Integrated developmental stimulation combining techniques that support overall development.

Professional team

The multidisciplinary team includes neurorehabilitation specialists, physical therapists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, and educators. Its experience includes cerebral palsy, neuromotor disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and other conditions.

Working with families

Fuvane encourages open communication among the rehabilitation team, each patient, and their family, and invites family members to take an active role in therapy. It also coordinates with other professionals to provide comprehensive, continuous care.
