Escola Global International School

An international school in Palma

Escola Global International School is a private international school for students ages 2 to 18, located in the Parc Bit innovation park in Palma de Mallorca. It opened in 2008 and follows the British curriculum, enriched with Spanish. Its approach combines project-based learning, outdoor education, and its own enrichment program.

Academic program

The school serves students from Early Years through Sixth Form (ages 16–18). In the final years, it offers Cambridge International A-Levels, with individualized schedules and no required subjects, and the option to combine those exams with Spain's Bachillerato. Students can earn international qualifications (IGCSEs and A-Levels) as well as Spanish recognition of their studies, which can qualify them for universities in Spain and abroad.

Along with the academic curriculum, the school offers extracurricular activities, a 2026 summer camp, and courses such as Digital Media, Environmental Management, Music, Drama, and Marine Sciences. Students can take part in the International Project Qualification and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, as well as internships in real-world settings.

Academic results

According to results published by the school, 88% of grades in its most recent IGCSE exams were A–C, with a 100% pass rate in English, sciences, and languages. The school says these results are above the international average.

Community and environment

The school brings together more than 30 nationalities and describes itself as a small community where every student is known and supported. It is certified as an Eco-School and Blue School and incorporates recycling, energy awareness, and marine conservation into daily life. A Green Team leads community initiatives.

Meals

The school has its own kitchen and a four-person team that prepares daily meals using local, seasonal, and organic products when possible. Menus are designed to be balanced and inclusive.
