Calibration and Process Instrumentation

Applus+ Gometrics has a 50-year history in process instrumentation and calibration. Since 2025, it has been part of the Applus Laboratories division of the Applus+ group. It manufactures measurement and calibration equipment under its Gometrics Instruments brand and represents international manufacturers in the sector.

Calibration and Qualification Services

The company is accredited by ENAC for pressure, temperature, gas flow, relative humidity, mass, and electrical signals. It has also recently received ENAC accreditation for liquid-flow calibration both in its laboratory and on site. Technicians travel to customer facilities to calibrate instruments, flowmeters, scales, gas detectors, and anemometers.

For pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food companies, Applus+ Gometrics performs thermal mapping, validation, and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification of autoclaves, freeze dryers, ultra-low-temperature freezers, cleanrooms, and other equipment. It also provides maintenance, repairs, and technical support for the instruments it supplies.

Laboratory Capabilities

Its laboratory in Palau-Solità i Plegamans, Barcelona, is organized into areas for pressure; temperature and humidity; electrical and low-frequency signals; mass; liquid flow; industrial gases; gas flow; and air velocity.

Products and Represented Brands

The Gometrics Instruments line includes digital pressure gauges, multifunction calibrators, gas-standard mixers and diluters, pressure and temperature switches, flowmeters, signal meters and simulators, thermal qualification systems, portable gas detectors, and leak detectors. Brands represented include Beamex, Brooks Instrument, Yokogawa, United Electric, Furness Controls, Kambic, Lives International, Crowcon, Drastar, and DGH.
