Mooma
Mooma’s original restaurant sits among the family’s apple orchards in the Empordà, pairing seasonal Mediterranean dishes with its own ciders.
About Mooma
From the apple orchards to the table
Mooma’s first restaurant opened in 2017 on the family’s Mas Saulot estate, surrounded by the apple orchards that helped shape the project. The kitchen describes its cooking as contemporary Mediterranean, built around seasonal ingredients and dishes meant for sharing. Rice, meat and fish all have a place on the menu, while apples and house-made products give the restaurant a connection to the land that is more than decorative.
A meal with a cider-house visit attached
The setting makes it possible to turn lunch into a closer look at how the food and drink are made. Mooma offers guided walks through its fields, visits to the cider cellar and tastings led by a member of the team. For travelers exploring the Empordà, the draw is this combination of orchard landscape, a generous shared meal and a chance to understand the family’s cider production in the same place.
