Expamex is a family-owned company based in Paiporta, Valencia, specializing in the sale and distribution of candy, gum, sweets, chocolates, nuts, soft drinks, and related products. It describes itself as a leading company in the Valencian Community and operates a direct-sale Cash & Carry model.

History

The company's roots go back to 1962, when the Chisvert brothers founded La Campanera, a roasted-nut business. In the early 1970s, it began distributing candy and gum through a wholesale route-sales channel. After a business separation in 1977, one of the founders, Salvador, established Comercial Chisbert, a candy distributor that became the foundation of Expamex. The company credits its growth in part to adopting new commercial models such as cash sales.

How Cash & Carry Works

The format lets professional buyers view products, select what they need, and take it with them. The stores have on-site parking, spacious sales floors, and staff available to assist customers. Expamex also offers commercial advice and after-sales service.
