The Asturian Business Federation (FADE) represents and provides services to companies in Asturias. It brings together more than 50,000 businesses, according to figures published on its website, and has offices in Oviedo, Gijón, and Avilés.

FADE provides member companies and businesses across Asturias with advisory and support services in several areas:

• Equality, through programs such as Massteam, delegated equality officers, and Ella Lidera
• Growth and competitiveness office
• Corporate social responsibility, including FADE Saludable and Conecta Social – Gijón Impulsa
• Workplace safety and health
• Sustainability and the environment, through programs such as Reduce tu huella, AquaSmart, Transfer Avilés, and Industria Circular
• Digital transformation and innovation, through the Acelera Pyme Office, the Business Innovation Network, and the PIDI Network
• European Union programs and internationalization, through Enterprise Europe Network and the BIAD Project
• Training and people: employment and talent attraction, training, career guidance, and Talentia

Competitiveness Observatory

The federation operates a Competitiveness Observatory that provides statistical information about factors affecting businesses in Asturias.

Training and Employment

FADE organizes a wide range of training courses to support the competitiveness and growth of Asturian companies and their employees. It also operates a job-placement agency that supports people in their career development.

Events and Publications

The organization publishes an event calendar and a blog with business news and analysis. Scheduled events include workshops and sessions on artificial intelligence, packaging management, Asturias’s new forestry model, and other topics relevant to businesses.
