Dr. Wenceslao Piedra Cascón earned his dental degree from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and practices in Oviedo, Asturias. His work combines clinical dentistry with teaching and training for other professionals in digital and aesthetic dentistry and oral rehabilitation.

Education and research

After dental school, he completed UCM’s full-time master’s program in aesthetic dentistry and oral rehabilitation over three years, followed by a master’s degree in periodontics and implant dentistry at the European University Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC). He is part of the international Revilla Research Center (RRC), which focuses on 3D technologies in dentistry, and has authored or coauthored more than 15 international papers in journals including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Prosthodontics, and the International Journal of Prosthodontics. He also serves as a guest reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
