About García de Pou

García de Pou did not begin as a large industrial supplier. In 1884, Luis García and Francisca de Pou opened a paper-bag workshop and print shop in Figueres. The family business later moved to Vila-sacra before opening its current factory in Ordis in 2002. Its focus on hotels, restaurants, bars, and cafés took shape under the fourth generation, and the company still describes itself as a five-generation family business.

The catalog brings together about 6,000 products for the daily operations of hospitality businesses: napkins, tablecloths, plates, cups, paper bags, burger wrappers, and cardboard takeout containers. It also includes table, bar, and buffet supplies; kitchen and storage tools; guest amenities; hygiene products; and protective items. Some products are disposable, while others are reusable tableware and durable tools.

Customization is one of the company’s specialties. García de Pou designs and prints products with each customer’s branding and says its graphic and plate-making work is handled in-house rather than outsourced. It manufactures about half of the products it sells at its own facilities and imports the rest to broaden its range. Its online catalog lets customers browse products, technical sheets, and customization options.

The scale of the operation is reflected in its Ordis factory, warehouses in Ordis and Vila-sacra, and retail locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and the Canary Islands. The company reports more than 25,000 customers and commercial activity in over 60 countries. From its base in Alt Empordà, it supplies both small businesses and large groups, with a catalog intended to cover everything from table service and buffet needs to packaging, hygiene, and guest amenities.
