Art therapy in Olot

Altrart is an art therapy association based in Olot, in the Garrotxa region of Girona. It uses creative work to support emotional well-being through workshops and courses for different audiences and projects in schools, social organizations, and professional teams.

Programs and participants

Altrart offers activities for children, teenagers, adults, families, community groups, and professionals. Programs include:

School and community partnerships

The association has worked with local organizations for years. Its emotional-integration program at Escola Joan Maragall has run for 12 years, according to its published information. Altrart has also led team-building workshops for secondary school student representatives in Olot at the request of the city's education department and provided professional training for Fundació La Llar de Berga.

Altrart takes part in the FES (Fundació d'Estudis Superiors d'Olot) summer program with “Art i benestar emocional”; the course reached its 10th edition in 2026. The association also organizes Col·loquis Paral·lels, a series of interviews with local figures that marked its 10th anniversary and 30th edition in 2025.
