Social inclusion in the Garrotxa region
Integra is a nonprofit association in the Garrotxa region of Girona focused on social inclusion, particularly for people with intellectual disabilities, children with developmental disorders, and people at risk of social exclusion. With more than 50 years of history, it served 1,428 people in 2024.
Services and programs
The association manages services in personal care, employment, housing, special education, recreation, and social enterprise. Its programs and facilities include:
- Child Development and Early Intervention Center (CDIAP)
- Joan XXIII School
- Employment Integration Service
- Occupational Therapy Service (STO) and Specialized Care Center (CAE)
- Vora Riu Residence
- Training and Employment Integration Program (IFE)
- Recreation program
- Botiga Taller de Paper, a shop selling socially minded products
In 2023, Integra created Les Fonts Inclusió, S.L.U., a work-integration company focused on employment inclusion.
