Talleres Amenabar, S.A. designs, develops, manufactures, and patents industrial lifting systems. Javier and José Mari Amenabar founded the company in 1962. Its headquarters and plant are on the road to Ochandiano in Olaeta, Álava, where it has worked in the hoist and chain market for more than six decades, serving customers in Spain and abroad.

History and certifications
Company milestones include patenting the Regulator Brake in 1964; beginning production of electric chain hoists and its own lifting chain in 1973; and obtaining independent Bureau Veritas certification for every manual and electric hoist it made in 1994. Talleres Amenabar holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications for the design, manufacture, and sale of lifting equipment and chains. In 2022, it joined the Basque Wind Energy Cluster and announced the opening of a subsidiary in Shanghai, China.
