Gestem is an advisory firm based in O Porriño (Pontevedra), with a second office in A Guarda. It serves small and large businesses, self-employed professionals, and individuals in three main areas—employment, tax, and accounting—as well as providing customized advice for specific procedures.

Services

• Employment advice: Workplace openings; employer identification number applications; mutual insurance registration; risk assessment plans; hiring; payroll and TCS preparation; representation before labor agencies (SMAC and social courts); and defense in labor inspections.
• Tax advice: Tax advice; business activity tax registrations and terminations; accounting books; bookkeeping; and filing returns (Forms 110, 115, 130, 131, 303, 310, 311, and 370, personal income tax, and corporate income tax), as well as procedures with Spain's Tax Agency.
• Accounting advice: Accounting planning and setup, accounting review and organization, technical advice, formal requirements, balance sheets and income statements, and bank reconciliation.
• Customized advice: Vehicle title transfers, deregistrations and registrations, transportation cards, firearms permits, and inheritance tax settlements.

Hours

Winter hours (October 1 through May 31): Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with additional hours on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Summer hours (June 1 through September 30): Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Updates and training

The website publishes tax and employment updates, such as regulations on invoicing software (Royal Decree 1007/2023), the lower limit on cash payments, and the new contribution system for self-employed professionals. It also lists grant opportunities, most of them from the Government of Galicia (EMEGA programs, hiring incentives, grants for self-employed professionals, and others).
