Support and inclusion

Fundació Finestrelles is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and their families, while promoting independence and social inclusion. Its work spans residential services, occupational services, and programs for businesses.

Residential services

The foundation operates a residential building for people with intellectual disabilities, offering 24-hour care as well as a service compatible with participation in an occupational workshop.

Occupational services

At its workshop, participants take part in therapeutic activities designed to support the greatest possible social and workplace inclusion, adapted to each person’s abilities, interests, and needs.

Programs for businesses

The foundation offers companies corporate volunteer days and team-building activities, along with hands-on production work and custom products for corporate events and gifts. Businesses can also contribute through donations or by sponsoring projects and events as part of their corporate social responsibility programs.

Other ways to get involved

Other opportunities include a friends program, recurring donations, volunteering, bequests, and a shop featuring the foundation’s own products. It publishes Món Finestrelles and DownUp magazines and holds events.

Leadership and team

The operating team is led by General Director Lourdes Mas Casanovas; Manager Marisa Sánchez; Occupational Therapy Technical Director Miriam Zoppetti; Residential Services Technical Director Eva Aragón; social worker and quality lead Monika Sagnier; Psychology and Family Support co-directors Manel Felices and Elionor Castillo; and physiotherapist and sports coordinator Susana Piña.
