About Blaugranes en Cadira de Rodes
FC Barcelona supporters advocating for accessibility
Blaugranes en Cadira de Rodes is an association of FC Barcelona supporters with physical disabilities. Its work focuses on advocating for accessibility and equal participation for people with reduced mobility at Camp Nou and in the wider club community.
Advocacy and progress
The association has campaigned for more wheelchair spaces at the stadium. In December 2010, FC Barcelona's board approved 48 new wheelchair spaces—24 at each end of the stadium—plus 24 companion seats, increasing capacity from the 27 wheelchair spaces available at the time. The association described the decision as a historic step toward greater dignity for people with reduced mobility.
Media and outreach
The group maintains a blog with interviews, videos, and opinion pieces about the club and the challenges faced by wheelchair users at Camp Nou. Its outreach has included an interview on the “Catalunya Sense Barreres” program on Ràdio Estel and sharing a report by BTV Notícies.
Online presence
The association's blog is blaugranesencadiraderodes.blogspot.com. It also lists an X account (@manelmora) and a Facebook page.
